I truly don’t know how I would’ve made it through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum without Christine. From the very beginning, she supported us in preparing for birth and even offered to come to big appointments. She had an incredible network of trusted providers—pediatricians, pelvic floor specialists, chiropractors, therapists—you name it. That guidance was so valuable as a first-time mom.

Christine quickly became more than just a doula—she became a true friend and my biggest cheerleader, especially when I went through my prenatal yoga training. She even helped me prep for my prenatal yoga series that I was facilitating! She was available for calls and texts basically 24/7 and always made me feel held, supported, and never alone.

When I was told I needed an emergency C-section, Christine came to the hospital immediately. After my daughter was born, I had moments of fear and uncertainty—especially when she wouldn’t latch—and Christine showed up with compassion and reassurance. She even offered to care for my daughter so my husband and I could rest (which is well beyond her job description, but speaks volumes about who she is).

Christine is the most calming, warm, grounding presence I could have asked for during such a life-changing time. She even offered to speak with my family to help communicate our needs after the baby arrived. Just knowing she was a text or call away took so much pressure off of me.

I’m beyond grateful to now call her a friend. Every new parent deserves someone like Christine in their corner. ❤️

SO happy with my doula! Christine is extremely knowledgeable, and my husband and I are so happy that we have had her support and expertise during this whirlwind of a time in our lives! I interviewed a few doulas before choosing her, and what really stuck out to me was how comfortable she made me feel. She gave me her full attention, and I didn’t feel she was distracted at all. She also didn’t have any weird rules about when a client could contact her if I had any questions, (I noticed a lot of other doulas have a 9-5 type rule 5-7 days a week). She told me I can literally reach out whenever and there is no abusing that privilege. I’m not the type to overly reach out, but I love that I felt I could if I wanted to. She is down to earth, and not judgey. Just overall love her vibe. She also GAVE me info… instead of just sitting there waiting for me to ask questions, she gave me the full rundown of what to expect from her and what she offers. There was never awkward silence or me trying to come up with something to ask. And I felt this way throughout every meeting we have ever had. She throughly educated us and answered ALL of our questions with confidence and honesty. She also knows A LOT. I asked sooooo many questions and she has all the answers! I felt very supported all throughout my pregnancy, during labor, and postpartum. She was a great support and advocate while at the hospital. She also encapsulated my placenta, and made me a placenta print! Which I love.

Words can hardly express how grateful I am for Christine. She is truly an angel on this earth. From the moment she stepped into our home, Christine brought a sense of calm, warmth, and confidence. Her support during the postpartum period was nothing short of life-changing. Whether it was helping me navigate newborn care, offering emotional reassurance, or simply making sure I had time to rest and recover, Christine handled every moment with grace, compassion, and deep intuition.

The second someone tells me they are pregnant for the rest of my life, I will congratulate them, and then I will tell them they should hire Christine as their doula!

When I got pregnant I knew I wanted to hire a doula because I was hoping for a non-medicated birth. We met with 10 different women and Christine was a clear stand out from the beginning. We felt connected to her warm spirit right away but she also never hesitated with an answer for us no matter what question we threw at her. We felt that with Christine we would be extremely well taken care of and that she really had the experience to back up her business.

After we committed to working with Christine, I ended up with a small breech baby, so no chance for an ECV and a scheduled c-section at 39 weeks. I thought that I no longer would really need a doula, but was happy to have her with us as we had already committed to the contract and thought the extra help couldn't hurt. I was extremely wrong! When my c-section didn't go as smoothly as I would have hoped, having Christine in the operating room advocating for me was one of the only things that ended up saving the experience for me. Without going into too much detail, I can confidently say that if I were to re-do my babys birth, or if/when I have another child, I would change doctors and the hospital, but I would NOT change hiring Christine!

On top of the actual support during our birth, the support that Christine has given us after, has been immeasurable. The first few weeks after we got home, as new parents, we called or texted Christine at least once a day every day, and she was always there to calm us down on any concerns we had and answer any questions. She never made us feel silly for asking and always made us feel comfortable and supported, and we'll always look back and appreciate that!

I was a skeptic at first but frankly not sure what we would’ve done without Christine. A literal angel. She was such an amazing source of support before, during, and after the birth of our baby girl. "Christine was my postpartum doula and I can only describe her as heaven sent! She supported both me and my daughter from when my daughter was 5 days old to about 10 weeks. She was helpful for everything making sure I was eating, showering and resting, helping me breastfeed correctly, bottle feeding, watching my daughter so I could sleep, providing referrals to resources (therapists, etc.), and lending an ear to talk to in those lonely sleep-deprived weeks after giving birth. She’s very knowledgeable and was able to provide a number of resources when I needed them. This was my second child and I wish I had her for my first. “The most helpful part of having Christine was her tireless efforts to make me feel comfortable during the nighttime, after a several-day induction at that point.

I didn't have the easiest birth or postpartum. I had a 50-hour induction that suddenly became very urgent, and ended with a cesarean. My birth plan had more or less gone out the window. My son and myself had severe complications that arose over the course of my labor. In spite of all of this, I never felt scared when I had Christine by my side. She did everything possible to make me comfortable, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. She helped me make decisions without guiding me one way or another and I was respected. I would not repeat the experience without Christine! She is so kind, gentle, but realistic.

I would recommend Christine because she's knowledgeable, practical, nonjudgmental, and LGBT+ friendly. She never made me feel panicked, even when complications arose during my birth.”

Our first was born in COVID and we didn't have any postpartum support at home and this was an entirely different experience. She started working with us the second night home from the hospital and we'd initially planned for only 8-12 weeks of support and worked with her for over 16. Our LO loved his sleep, but would only sleep in certain positions and generally being held, she enabled my husband and I to get some sleep and still function to support our toddler, work and each other. “My husband and I chose Christine to be our doula for our second pregnancy, after not having one for our first. Though grateful for a healthy pregnancy and baby, my first delivery left me longing for something different. My delivery felt impersonal and left me feeling disconnected from my baby. This time around I was determined to avoid induction, if possible… I wanted to take a more natural route, and really feel.

This time, after another unplanned induction, I went into the delivery room with little expectation… but I left so. very. full.

Having Christine guide me through building a personalized plan for me was a game changer! She asked about my preferences and explained in detail how each choice either supported or went against my overall plan. “I am so grateful for Christine! She helped me immensely throughout my breastfeeding journey. I was ready to call it quits by the end of the third month, I'd tried everything! From eating oatmeal everyday, staying hydrated, lactation cookies, etc. and I did not see a difference in my milk supply (I was pumping about 2oz total in 20 mins.) They say everyone's journey is different, I'm a first time mom so that was something I kept reminding myself. But it was a bit discouraging seeing that I was not making enough to feed my baby, which was something I was determined to do!
