1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of this website and clients of Your Family Doula Services. By accessing or using this site or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

If you don’t agree, please do not use the site or book services.

2. Services Provided

Your Family Doula Services offers virtual and in-person services, including but not limited to:

  • Prenatal and postpartum education

  • Lactation support

  • Birth and postpartum doula care

  • Nutrition support

  • Workshops and wellness sessions

All services are educational, supportive, and non-medical in nature unless explicitly stated otherwise.

3. Booking & Payments

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged in writing.

  • For virtual sessions, clients agree to show up on time and be prepared with any necessary materials or forms.

  • If you need to reschedule, please refer to the Rescheduling & Refund Policy shared at the time of booking.

4. Refunds & Cancellations

  • As outlined in your service agreement or the booking policy, sessions are non-refundable once booked.

  • Clients may reschedule one time with at least 48 hours’ notice. If rescheduling less than 48 hours before the session, a $50 rescheduling fee applies.

  • Sessions must be used within 90 days of purchase.

  • No-shows or last-minute cancellations are not eligible for a refund or reschedule.

5. No Medical Advice

Information provided through this website or during any session is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not intended to substitute professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult with your healthcare provider before making medical decisions.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, images, workbooks, handouts, and videos, is the property of Your Family Doula Services and is protected by copyright law. You may not copy, share, or redistribute any content without express written permission.

7. Client Responsibilities

By engaging with our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and honest information when filling out forms or questionnaires

  • Be respectful in all communications and interactions

  • Use services and resources solely for personal and non-commercial use

  • Acknowledge that results may vary depending on individual circumstances

8. User Conduct (a.k.a. Don’t Be That Person)

We love community and welcome respectful comments and engagement on our blog and platforms. But let’s keep it kind and helpful. You agree not to:

  • Post anything hateful, harassing, abusive, or inappropriate

  • Spam, promote unrelated products, or pretend to be someone you’re not

  • Disrupt the vibe

Basically, don’t be a jerk. We reserve the right to delete comments or block users who aren’t playing nice. Let’s keep it safe, respectful, and supportive — just like we’d want a birth space to feel.

  • Stripe & Square (payment processing)

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Your Family Doula Services shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our website, services, or materials. By using this site or booking services, you acknowledge and agree that you assume full responsibility for any and all outcomes.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Jersey, United States.
